You Can Now View Your Photos On a Map with Instagram 3.0.0 « Ios Applications « GiveMeMind

Instagram the popular photo sharing app (side note: Facebook paid a *billion dollars* to Instagram’s developers to buy Instagram) has now been updated to version 3.0.0 with cool new features like viewing photos on a map.

The complete change log:

  • View photos on a map
  • Redesigned profile screen
  • Redesigned upload screen
  • Design improvements
  • Infinite scrolling on photo feeds
  • Flag inappropriate comments
  • Bug fixes

The hottest feature of all the above is Photos on Map. This is quite cool since it becomes easier to keep a track of exact place where you clicked the image. Although the stock photos app provides us with this, I feel it’s good that instagram has also provided this feature because filtered photos are more appealing than normal photos.

Personally besides the photo maps, I really like the new UI and specially the new loading circle. The circle looks way better than it used to (aesthetics matter).

So what are your thoughts on the new update?
