Apple is building a small team to write software which will lay the groundwork for the company’s future web services, which it has advertised as “the future” of cloud-based services.
Apple posted a new job listing for a position of “Cloud Systems Software Engineer”. First discovered by AppleInsider, the full time position is said to join a “small team” that will be building “the future of cloud services at Apple”.
The team will be writting “software which forms the foundation” for some of Apple’s “most exciting new products and services” (this is how the job actually reads).
Apple has believed that working with a cloud-based music service will allow users to stream their music from anywhere. This latest news has an expected arrival date of sometime in the spring.
