Sony Mobile Moving Headquarters to Tokyo, Cutting 15% of it’s Workforce « Tech News « GiveMeMind

After buying Ericsson, Sony Mobile is starting to make it’s operational changes which they are hoping will result in more profits. One of the changes that are going to be happening is moving the headquarters from Sweden to Tokyo, Japan and that will be happening in October. Another change that will be happening which might not really make you happy is that Sony Mobile will be cutting 15% of it’s workforce (1,000 jobs). The job cuts will be happening slowly for a year and a half and will be concluded in March 2014. [Source]
