On Wednesday, June 6, Sony launched a new web store for eBooks. The web store will allow customers to purchase new titles directly online, and the purchases that will be made through the site will automatically be sent down to sony eReaders or devices that have its Reader application installed. Sony also said that their eBook format will be supported on Adobe DRM devices and apps.
