But. Has anyone noticed the massive drop in Nokia’s stock lately? Well, I have. And apparently, Steven Elop isn’t the right man to fix that pile o’ money slipping through Nokia’s hands. So Nokia needs a new strategy, yes?
What would I do?
- Get rid of Elop. Yes, first step is to bring the right guys to the lead.
- Dump Symbian, Bring back MeeGo! You heard me. Remember the 41-megapixel Symbian phone by Nokia? Fail. And the good phone, N9 and its MeeGo? More of those, please.
- Total facelift. I mean, come on. When you hear the word Nokia, do you think of a manufacturer of powerful smartphones? Nope, you think of laggy Symbian phones. Make something revolutionary.
- Use the tech they have. They got revolutionary cameras and an awesome mobile OS (read: MeeGo), but why aren’t they using them? N8′s got a 12-megapixel camera. That’s it.
