After telling you about the expected release, it’s finally official. Nikon has launched the AF-S Nikkor 18-300mm F3.5-5.6G ED VR lens, a 16.7x superzoom for APS-C DSLRs. The 18-300mm offers the highest ever zoom ratio for a Nikon interchangeable lens. It features a 77mm filter thread and will be available at the end of June at a surprisingly good suggested retail price of around $999.
