This might just be the biggest sleep-related technological invention, ever.
A regular Joe would think that NeuroDreamer is just a sleep mask, but it’s not. Inside the NeuroDreamer is a complicated set of technology, making sleeping both easier and more comfortable and vivid.
Through light and sound, the NeuroDreamer sleep mask generates a sequence of brainwave frequencies that correspond to the natural sequence of brainwave activity as observed in a person as they fall asleep. These frequencies are produced using binaural beats embedded within beautiful music, and synchronized with fading lights – all generated by the NeuroDreamer sleep mask’s microcontroller, which is concealed inside the mask’s memory foam.
In addition to binaural beats, the NeuroDreamer sleep mask utilizes a second method for audio entrainment. An ambient noise, somewhat like ocean surf, is played in one ear. The same surf sound is played in the opposing ear, but with a slight time delay (called “phase shift”). By changing the length of the time delay, the brain perceives the surf sound as moving between the ears, setting up a “beat”.
