Microsoft has been giving us clues that Windows 8 will be announced in October, but now we are sure it will be available in October. Steven Sinofsky today announced at Microsoft’s annual sales meeting that consumers will be able to get their hands on Windows 8 on October 26 of this year. The launch date is the same for both upgrades or installs on a new PC. [Source]
