LG’s 84″ 4K Ultra HDTV is Now Available in Korea « Tech News « GiveMeMind

The 84-inch 4K Ultra HDTV by LG has now launched in Korea and it offers an amazing resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The television will be available in Europe, North America, Latin America, and other Asian countries in September. It is kind of weird that LG is making it available in all of these countries as when LG announced the television in July they said it is a limited edition offering and that only 84 units will be available in one country which is Korea and no where else. But it seems like LG has changed it’s plans.

With the huge screen resolution, screen size, 3D capabilities, and a built-in 2.2 stereo speaker system, the television comes with a hefty price of $22,100. If you want the same resolution, but a smaller screen then you can get the 55″ Toshiba television for $9,460. If you’re looking for normal sized Ultra HDTV’s by LG then you will have to wait as LG will be releasing normal sized Ultra HDTV’s later this year. [Source]
