I have been using the iPole Mini and the Super Mount for a couple of days now and this is one of the best products i have ever used in my life. Fastcap, the creators of the iPole Mini & the Super Mount, have truly built high quality products and the level of detail and precision in these products are just amazing.
The iPole Mini is a handheld extender for your camera or smart phone, it has a stainless steel construction, and it ranges from 9-39 inches when it’s fully extended. I have to say i used all kinds of cameras with this but it never got shaky and kept fully steady which amazed me. The iPole Mini can hold heavy cameras with no problem (i saw a person use his Canon EOS 60D and it held it with no problem). The iPole Mini also comes with a strap for more security.
If you want to attach your smart phone to this you will have to buy a separate accessory called the Super Mount. The Super Mount supports basically any smart phone in the market because it’s fully spring loaded and can adjust with any smart phone. The Super Mount can even support phones that have cases on them with no problem. The Super Mount has an amazing traction pad so your smart phone doesn’t get scratched and doesn’t fall out easily, and on the bottom it has a standard quarter twenty camera mount and it mounts to the iPole. What’s amazing is that you can attach your smart phone to any tripod via the Super Mount.
