Apple has released their iOS 4.3.3 and 4.2.8 (CDMA) software updates which resolved issues with location tracking.

The update also contains changes to the iOS crowd-sourced location database cache including:
- Reduces the size of the cache
- No longer backs the cache up to iTunes
- Deletes the cache entirely when Location Services is turned off
The software update is available for all iOS devices (except 2G/3G) including iPad 2. If you are part of the JB community then stay away for now, although @i0n1c bug was not patched.
