Paul Otellini, CEO of Intel, has told investors that the their first smartphone is ready for launch on a Q1 financial earnings call. Paul had said that “the launch of our first Intel architecture-based smartphone” will occur “later this week.” Rumors are that the Intel phone, 4.5-inch, 1.6GHz Atom Z2460-powered Android 4.0 device, titled Lenovo K800 or the Lava Xolo X900 1.6GHz Medfield processor according to the Verge, is slated for China first.
