Apple has requested a preliminary US ban on Samsung’s Galaxy SIII. They believe the Galaxy SIII violates at least two patents, one is the data tapping patent, and the other is a unified search patent that covers Siri. A hearing has been already scheduled for June 7th and is now taking on a new sense of urgency. Samsung said that the injunction call won’t affect the approaching US launches. Hopefully Samsung is right and all the people who pre ordered the SIII don’t get disappointed. [Source]
