Google launched the beta version of Google Chrome for Android about 4 months ago, and people guessed that Google would bring it out of beta at Google I/O. It seems that the people were right, Google has released a stable version of Google Chrome for Android on the Google Play Store. Just like the beta, this runs only on Android 4.0 and higher. Hopefully Google will make the browser compatible with other Android versions too. If you’re getting the Nexus 7 then you don’t have to get Google Chrome from the Google Play Store, since it’s the default browser of the Nexus 7.
